Data deletion
Last updated: September 2026. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. Here is how.
How to request deletion
- ✦Email hello@bricknpapers.com with the subject line "Data deletion request".
- ✦Include the name, email address and phone number (with country code) you used with us, including the WhatsApp number if it is different, so we can find your records.
- ✦Or message us on WhatsApp from the number you want deleted and write "Delete my data".
- ✦We may ask you to confirm you own the email address or WhatsApp number before we delete anything. This protects you from someone else requesting deletion on your behalf.
What we delete
- ✦Your account profile, saved addresses, wishlist and preferences.
- ✦Your WhatsApp conversations, media, phone number and profile name held in our CRM and database.
- ✦Name, email and profile picture received through Google Sign-In, along with the linked authentication records.
- ✦Your newsletter subscription and marketing preferences.
What we may have to keep
Order, invoice and payment records are kept for 7 years to comply with Indian tax law (GST). Where we must keep these, we delete or anonymise everything not required by law and restrict the rest to that legal purpose only.
How long it takes
We acknowledge requests within 7 working days and complete deletion within 30 days. We will confirm by email, or on WhatsApp if that is how you asked.
Data held by Meta and Google
Deleting your data from our systems does not delete copies held by other companies under their own terms. To manage WhatsApp data held by Meta, use WhatsApp's in-app settings or see the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. To remove our access to your Google account, visit Google Account Permissions. Revoking access alone does not delete your Brick N Papers account, so please also send us a deletion request.
